Personal income is predicted to grow moderately. In 2014, personal income is expected to grow stronger than in 2013 for all district states, with the exception of North Dakota. Minnesota, for example, is expected grow 3.1 percent, higher than the 1 percent growth recorded in 2013. However, all district states are projected to have lower growth in 2014 than in the United States, which has an expected growth of 4.6 percent. For 2015, most states are expected to do better than in 2014, with North Dakota leading the way at 6 percent. Other than in North Dakota, personal income growth in district states is expected to remain lower than U.S. growth (4.4 percent).
