Director, Regional Outreach
As Director of Regional Outreach, Angie meets with and educates constituents on the Federal Reserve’s purposes, services and policy actions, and in turn gleans economic data from local community leaders. These findings inform Bank leadership; she is also one of the contributing authors to the “Beige Book,” a summary report of local economic conditions.
Angie’s experience in research, policy development and teaching for the past 20 years has been at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, University of Minnesota and Stanford University. She has published in professional and peer-reviewed journals, and spoken at research and policy conferences across the country. Angie received her Ph. D. and M.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, her B.A. from Lawrence University. She serves on the Board of Directors of Minnesota Council on Economic Education.
