Erick Garcia Luna Director, Regional Outreach

Erick Garcia Luna is a Regional Outreach director at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. His main responsibilities involve tracking, analyzing, and reporting on several aspects of the Ninth District’s economy.

Garcia Luna’s recent work has focused on the dynamics of the labor market in the post-pandemic economy of the region.

Before joining the Minneapolis Fed, he worked for the U.S. Senate, the City of Minneapolis, and the University of Minnesota. Erick completed coursework in economics at the Universidad Autonoma Metropolitana in Mexico City and holds a degree in economics from the University of Minnesota.
