Mark Aguiar Consultant

Mark Aguiar is a consultant at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis and the Walker Professor of Economics and International Finance at Princeton University. Previously, he was a professor of economics at the University of Rochester and a senior economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. He has also taught at the University of Chicago and the Indian School of Business.

Mark received a B.A. in history and Chinese from Brown University and a Ph.D. in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He specializes in macroeconomics and international economics, and his research focuses on models of consumption and savings. Mark's interests include life cycle consumption and savings, sovereign debt, and current account dynamics.

Mark's work has appeared in journals such as the Journal of Political Economy and the Quarterly Journal of Economics. He was also a co-editor of the American Economic Review and served on its board of editors.
