Institute Working Paper Submission Form

The Institute Working Paper submission form is intended for use by Opportunity & Inclusive Growth Visiting Scholars who want to submit their work for inclusion into the Institute Working Paper series. This form must be completed before your paper can be added to the series. You will receive an email after submitting this form that contains the terms of the agreement below and instructions on how to submit the PDF of the paper. Please email mpls.institute.publications@mpls.frb.org with any questions.

This license grant (“License”) governs the terms under which the below corresponding author (“Licensor”) grants to the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis ("FRBM") a license with respect to the work described below.

The parties agree as follows:

  1. Grant of Rights.
    1. Licensor grants to FRBM a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, and nonexclusive right to reproduce, distribute, perform, and display the Work or any part of the Work, individually or as part of a compilation, in any medium, format, and style in connection with FRBM’s Opportunity and Inclusive Growth Institute or any other FRBM initiative.
    2. If FRBM reproduces, distributes, performs, or displays the Work or any part of the Work, FRBM shall provide attribution to Licensor in a format that is reasonable in light of FRBM’s use of the Work.
  2. Licensor’s Representations and Warranties.
    Licensor represents and warrants that:
    1. It has authority to grant the rights described in Section 1 of this License;
    2. It is not subject to any agreement, claim, or rights which may interfere with the rights granted in Section 1 of this License; and
    3. The Work is original and does not infringe upon any copyright or other proprietary right of any third party.
    4. Licensor shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FRBM from and against all claims, actions, demands, settlements, and judgments (including costs, expenses, and reasonable attorneys’ fees) resulting from any actual or alleged breach of Licensor’s representations contained in Section 2 of this License.
  3. General.
    1. Survival. Licensor’s obligations under Section 2 of this License will survive indefinitely.
    2. Entire Agreement. This License is the complete and exclusive expression of the agreement between the parties, and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous written or oral agreements regarding the subject matter of this License.
    3. Governing Law, Venue, and Jurisdiction. This License is governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota and is to be construed with the laws of the State of Minnesota without regard to its conflict of law rules. Licensor agrees that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or related to this License must be brought in the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota.
