“During my time in Billings, I’ll be meeting with a wide range of people, including tribal leaders, business leaders, and workers, to better understand the region’s successes and challenges,” said Kashkari. “Learning about the community helps me to represent our district as we set monetary policy for the nation.”
Kashkari will begin his visit on Thursday morning, Sept. 26, with a business leader roundtable followed by a discussion about the state of early child care in Montana. That afternoon at 12 p.m. MT, Kashkari will hold a free, public town hall at Petro Theater, Montana State University-Billings. Stockman Bank CEO and Minneapolis Fed Helena Branch director William Coffee will serve as moderator.
