An established advisory board of community leaders will be expanding its scope to engage across the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis’ community development, research, and outreach efforts.
Effective immediately, the Community Advisory Board will help President Neel Kashkari, the Community Development department, and other leaders further ground the Bank’s research in the communities it serves. The board will also provide diverse perspectives on the region’s community development needs and challenges.
Previously, the board supported only the Bank’s Opportunity & Inclusive Growth Institute. By anchoring the board in the Minneapolis Fed’s Community Development department, Bank leaders will be better equipped to deepen relationships in the community and use these important perspectives to inform outreach efforts across the entire organization.
