Minneapolis Fed names Nagle as AVP in Supervision, Regulation, and Credit

Mark Nagle has been named assistant vice president in the Supervision, Regulation, and Credit (SRC) Division at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, effective March 1.

In this role, Nagle will be responsible for teams that develop, implement, and maintain System initiatives related to supervision and risk monitoring of large financial institutions. He will also be responsible for managing the division’s strategic planning and reporting efforts.

Nagle joined the Bank in 2006 as a community bank examiner, and has since gained experience as the central point of contact for U.S. Bancorp and the portfolio coordinator for the System’s Large and Foreign Banking Organizations Management Group, among other roles. Most recently, Nagle held the position of managing director.

In 2023, Nagle was a recipient of the System’s William Taylor Award, which recognizes those who exemplify excellence in banking supervision.

Nagle holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and finance from Winona State University, and a master’s degree in business administration from Pennsylvania State University. He is also a graduate of the American Bankers Association Stonier Graduate School of Banking and received a leadership certificate from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

The Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis is responsible for the Ninth Federal Reserve District, which includes Montana, North and South Dakota, Minnesota, northwestern Wisconsin, and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis participates in setting national monetary policy, supervises numerous banking organizations, and provides a variety of payments services to financial institutions and the U.S. government.
