Bernie Sinner is president of BankNorth in Casselton, North Dakota. Sinner has worked at BankNorth and its predecessor organizations since 1999 in multiple lending and leadership positions, including serving as president of the Casselton branch before being named president of the bank in 2015.

Sinner has a B.S. degree in business administration from St. John’s University in Minnesota and attended the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

Sinner serves on the board of directors of the North Dakota Bankers Association (NDBA) and is currently its chair-elect. His significant history of volunteer service earned him the Casselton Business Association’s Bradley J. Burgum Community Service Award in 2010. In 2024, he was recognized by St. John’s University with an Alumni Achievement Award.
