Research interests
Joseph Mullins is a consultant at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis’s Opportunity & Inclusive Growth Institute and an assistant professor in the University of Minnesota’s Economics Department. Before coming to Minnesota, Joseph taught at the University of Western Ontario.
Joseph holds a B.A. from the University of Queensland, where he double majored in mathematics and economics, and a Ph.D. in economics from New York University. His research concerns labor economics and inequality, and focuses in particular on the economics of child development. Joseph’s work has appeared in the Journal of Political Economy, the Journal of Labor Economics and the International Economic Review.
