Mary Scott

Mary Scott is Osage and Pawnee and is the tax commissioner on the Muscogee Creek Nation’s executive branch cabinet. She has been in the tribal tax field for more than 25 years, working for the Osage Nation; the Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara Nation; the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma; the Iowa Nation Tax Commission; and the Muscogee Nation for the past five years. She is the former president and founder of the Oklahoma Intertribal Tax Association and is the current chair and co-founder of the National Intertribal Tax Alliance.

Scott has testified in federal court and been a speaker at many events, including giving keynote addresses, and is recognized for her leadership in the field. Scott is also a tribal tax consultant and trainer.
