Paolo Martellini is a junior scholar and research economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, where he was previously a visiting student. He received an M.Sc. degree from the University of Pisa, a diploma in economics from the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, and M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Pennsylvania. Paolo’s research centers on macroeconomics, labor economics, and urban economics. He has publications forthcoming in journals such as the Journal of Political Economy, and in fall 2021, he will begin an assistant professorship in the University of Wisconsin–Madison’s Department of Economics.
