Paul Fleissner

Paul Fleissner is the director of behavioral health at the Minnesota Department of Human Services. Prior to his position at the state, he spent 27 years in human services for Olmsted County. He was formerly deputy county administrator for the Health, Housing, and Human Services Division in Olmsted County and director of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority. He has served as a behavior analyst and program manager in group homes for disabled and mentally ill populations. Paul also worked as a social worker and held positions in administration. He is past president of the Minnesota Association of County Social Service Administrators, is a former board member of the National Association of County Human Service Administrators, and currently serves on the board of the American Public Human Services Association.
