Sri Zaheer Chair, Class C Director

Sri Zaheer is a Professor and Dean Emerita of the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, having served as Dean from 2012-2023. She also holds the University’s Elmer L. Andersen Chair in Global Corporate Social Responsibility. In her time at the university, Zaheer’s research has concentrated on international business, a subject on which she has published significantly and for which she has received honors from leading business management academies.

Zaheer is a charter trustee of Hamilton College in New York, and her previous affiliations include seats on the boards of the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), Greater Twin Cities United Way, the Guthrie Theater, and Mayo Clinic’s Economic Development Agency in Rochester, Minnesota. In 2013 she was honored with a Women in Business Award by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. She holds a bachelor’s degree in physics from Madras University, an MBA equivalent from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, and a doctorate in international management from MIT’s Sloan School of Management.
