The risk list highlights current or emerging risks that could adversely impact supervised institutions. In addition to identifying emerging risks, the lists outline actions banks and bank holding companies or supervisors can take in response to the identified risks. These steps can help ensure bankers are identifying and managing the risk and highlight areas where supervisors are likely to focus attention.
The list should not be read as a forecast or with the view that supervisors are always right. It is a list of the potential problem areas that may occur or spread in the future. To learn more about how to interpret this list, read Supervisory Interpretation of a Risk List.
We welcome your comments on the list, which you can provide by email to Mpls.Src.Outreach@minneapolis.frb.org.
