Christian Moser is a senior research economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. Christian is an assistant professor in the Economics Division of the Graduate School of Business at Columbia University. He is also an affiliated faculty member of Columbia University’s Economics Department.
Christian’s research concerns macroeconomics, labor economics, and public economics. He is particularly interested in issues around income inequality and redistributive policies. He has a B.A. in Economics and Mathematics from the University of St. Andrews and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Economics from Princeton University.
Christian’s work has appeared in the American Economic Journal: Macroeconomics and the American Economic Review: Papers and Proceedings. He has held visiting appointments with the Opportunity and Inclusive Growth Institute at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, the Einaudi Institute for Economics and Finance, and Yale University’s Cowles Foundation for Research in Economics.
