Kathy Neset co-founded Neset Consulting in 1980 and continues to lead the enterprise today. The organization currently employs crews working on 60 oil rigs and energy projects primarily in the Williston (North Dakota) Basin, Wyoming, and Kansas. Her professional affiliations include seats on the North Dakota State Board of Higher Education and the board of the North Dakota Petroleum Council. She takes an active role educating the public through community outreach.
Ms. Neset was inducted into the North Dakota Petroleum Council Hall of Fame in 2015, received the 2014 Prairie Business Top 25 Women in Business Award, and was named Williston Regional Economic Development Corporation Ambassador of the Year in 2014. She received her BA in Geology from Brown University.
